Loving Care began in 2005 as a small, in-home daycare licensed under Jessica Russell. What started as a way to support local families quickly grew into something much more—a calling. As the need for childcare increased, especially within Loving Care’s own family network, Jessica took a leap of faith. In April 2018, Loving Care Daycare Center opened its doors in the former R7 school building, then owned by the YMCA of the Prairie. What began with two rooms expanded to four within a year, and by 2022, the center had grown to six full rooms. That same year, Loving Care began sharing space with the rapidly growing Legacy Christian School. In January 2023, the daycare operated in two separate locations until September, when both centers merged into one space at Trinity Church. Then came another challenge. On December 31, 2024, Jessica and her team were notified that the lease at Trinity would not be renewed past June 30, 2025. Thankfully, the board extended it to December 31, 2025—but time is running short. Through all of these changes and challenges, Jessica has remained strong in her faith, believing wholeheartedly that God has a plan for Loving Care. Her commitment to her daycare families has never wavered.
